Novel is an ice cream shop in the Grand Avenue Arts district of Phoenix, AZ, whose renown “dough melt” and inventive flavors have made it a local favorite. Novel is also known for their warm donut buns stuffed with handcrafted artisan ice cream having over 12 unique flavors, crispy European waffle sandwiches, glass bottle sodas, and cereal sprinkles. Brandon Douglas, the owner and operator, has always had an obsession with novelty foods, and wanted to present his version novelty ice cream that brings a smile to the people of Phoenix.
