Kaffein first opened as a coffee shop in the Newbo district of Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 2009. After a few years of growing with the other businesses, Nick Beta owner and operator decided to pursue another venture this time, focusing on food instead of drink. . After 3 years of gaining experience as a restaurateur and becoming established as a feature bistro in the thriving Newbo district, Nick again decided to find a new adventure to pursue. Thus, Kaffein is reborn as a new cafe in the growing industrial park on Boyson Road in Hiawatha Iowa.
