Giving Tuesday

Everyone has heard of black Friday, small business saturday, and cyber Monday, but did you know about giving Tuesday. The Tuesday after black Friday has been declared giving Tuesday by an organizer in New York, Henry Timms on August 2012. Giving Tuesday has been backed by Microsoft, Chase, and the Huffington Post, and its all about giving to a non-profit organization.

Companies like Good Ventures announced $5 million in matching funds for donations through Jan 31, 2014, Amazon announced they will donate $20 dollars to a customer's favorite charitable organization for every Kindle Fire HDX sold, and Google has announced its first ever “Hangout-a -thon”, which is aim at helping people to get involved with charities.
