To support credentialing operations, the full-time remote Credentialing Program Operations Specialist will oversee personnel activities, manage credentialing processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards within the Office of Medical Staff Affairs. Key Responsibilities Independently analyze and manage credentialing processes for UW Medicine, including special privileges and clinical forms Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory audits and accreditation surveys, ensuring compliance with necessary standards Lead departmental process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and teamwork across credentialing operations Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least two years of credentialing experience Certification in NAMSS SPCS or CPMSM, or the ability to obtain certification within two years of hire Familiarity with post-award grant and contract processes for federal and non-federal funding sources Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a complex environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
