Amara Barroeta, the woman behind Amara Chocolate & Coffee, is proud of her Venezuelan heritage and her country’s tradition of chocolate and coffee. Amara is a beauty queen, chemical engineer, television personality, chocolatière, and an entrepreneur. Her shop is in Old Town Pasadena, California. And besides chocolate and coffee, she makes fabulous churros, among other delicacies.
