People over Profit is a short film regarding Sookram’s Brewing Co. located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Sookram’s is a brewery and tap room operated by Andrew Sookram. Not even a week before all of the COVID-19 measures were implemented by the province of Manitoba, Sookram’s celebrated their one year anniversary of being in business. Their first year went well and big plans for year two were growing by the day. All of a sudden the momentum that they created came to a screeching halt, and this is where the story really begins.
