Reach Studio art center nonprofit, is a youth-driven, after school and summer art program for Lansing, michigan area teens. Providing youth participants with opportunities to explore a variety of artistic media with local artists, volunteer mentors, and peers. Teens develop skills in art-making, management, collaboration, and professionalism as they work on public art projects as well as individual portfolios. They are encouraged to commit to at least one semester of the program, which gives them the opportunity to bond with fellow participants and see projects through to completion. REACH teens have installed permanent sculptures at Potter Park Zoo, helped film a monthly tv show, painted murals for other organizations, mounted their own photography exhibit, sold their art at art fairs and shows, created on-line portfolios of their work, and many more exciting projects.

Reach Studio Art Center provides a neighborhood space for arts education and civic engagement in REO Town. Reach programs are dedicated to mentoring at-risk youth, urban revitalization, and strengthening community. REACH connects artists with local residents, brings diverse individuals and groups together, and creates an atmosphere of shared pride and creative problem solving.
